I'm brand spanking new to Twitter today and it's still a lot to take in, so I am moving very slowly. I still don't know how much is too much when it comes to tweets. Can I post as much as I want? Is too much considered spamming? My goal is ultimately to promote my blog and gain blog followers. Is this the wrong approach? HELP a Twitter Rookie!

Personally, I'm one of the "I don't know I ever got along before Buffer" people. It is absolutely indispensable to me...and Facebook integration is coming soon :)

The think about Social Media, particularly Twitter, is there is no picture that clearly tells you who is online reading when you are tweeting. So a tool like Buffer that helps your tweet appear when people ARE there reading is great. That way you're not talking to an empty room.

That's why people such as @AskAaronLee found it raised their Klout score so high (over 10 points in his case, in less than a month).

Yes, I like your encouragement and tips about finding info' and connections via twitter. I found the multiple layers that open out with a click almost surreal, certainly exciting and informative. Wish I had more time to gobble it all up! What's your opinion about Buffer?

You're right! But having a secondary, anonymous outlet has really proven itself for many folks.

I'm not analyzing it and saying, I think it has these benefits, what I'm doing is reporting that people have really appreciated what it has done for them.

I think in theory it DOES have a number of valid criticisms of which you bring up a couple, but in practice people have been glad they're tried it.

The benefits as described are interesting and worthy of further consideration. I can't say I agree with writing anonymously . . . how is that connecting? Recognize that the other persona is really you, too. So be witty or pithy or sarcastic as yourself.
